Just as quickly as our first half updates come in the blink of an eye, the second half updates also sneak up on us.
Amongst all the various gigs in the second half of the year some that stood out to us include the South Carolina New Play Festival in Greenville, SC where we were able to present our work on climate change. Getting to also be a part of and watch the other amazing artists in the outdoor variety show was cool. It’s a beautiful city and we’re happy to see socially driven circus be a part of the conversation in these types of festivals.
Also, we were able to be with our community through events that we participate in annually such as EpicFest and HOLA fest, these always warm our hearts and make us feel very fulfilled and connected even though they aren’t as glamorous and glitzy as the corporate events we do it’s something we always enjoy personally.
We got to wrap up the year with a showcase of various acts at the Halton Theatre as a part of “Mosaics” and despite pulling the acts together in a short amount of time we had fun getting to stage a duo straps act as it’s been years since we’ve done that. Getting to work on that along with our solos which had great meaning to us as well made for an intense but fun couple of shows and process. We’re thankful for the other awesome performers with us that make the sometimes hectic process feel more bearable.
As we head into 2026 full swing, we’re super excited for what this year will bring as we’ve recalibrated some of our priorities and what we are willing to spend our time on in this next year and beyond. We’re not sure exactly how that will look yet but we’re ready to find out and feeling blessed. ❤ Happy New Year all!
