Leo is your average kid with a wild imagination and a lot of love for his friends and family. When his papá receives a letter Leo ends up becoming the translator, point person, and problem solver- an experience many immigrant children are familiar with! Through imagination, play, interaction, and circus- Leo and his friends embark on an adventure to help his family and neighbors!

Jump, wiggle, roll, and flip your way through his story with us as we show what the power of friendship, community, and a little bit of silliness can do!

Hey Arnold! meets Reading Rainbow meets the Circus!

“Yo Leo!” is produced, written, and directed by Jordan and Theresa.

A circus duo with ten years of performing and coaching experience. They are blessed with two wonderful children and amazing friends made over the years. Community works and socially driven narratives are at the heart of what they do ranging from main stage act appearances, charitable fundraisers, festivals, free workshops, and hosting affinity spaces. Within the intersection of performance and philanthropy, they have been trusted performers with notable organizations such as the American Heart Association, Make a Wish, Epic Fest, Scripps National Spelling Bee, and numerous universities and grade schools nationwide.

• Representation: We are incredibly aware through first hand experience how empowering approrpiate stage representation can be and are proud to present a diverse cast of first generation immigrant children to tell stories that are dear to our hearts.
• Community Values: Throughout the storyline, families will witness values in action such as caring for thy neighbor, the importance of public libraries and reading, the power of play and imagination, and the bond of friendship and family.
• Workshops: After the shows, kids and adults of all ages will get the chance to learn juggling, aerial, and acrobatics from the artists! This helps foster a love of movement and play, instills confidence, and creates memorable connection beyond just the performance!
• Book Drives: Through the kindness of our community, we have been able to gather gently used children’s books, comic books, and unused workbooks to offer for free after our shows to our audience members, further seizing the moment to nurture a love for literacy and reading right then and there.
